EKOL accepts the following plastic types for recycling:
PVC, PET, PS, LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP.
- films, boxes, bottles, tubs, trays, dishes, serving trays, pots, stretch film, shrink wrap, sacks, carrier bags.
- buckets, barrels (up to 200 L), crates, drums, flower pots, compost sacks.
- pipes, profiles, laths, gutters, ... with a maximum length of 1.5 m.
- chairs, tables, sandboxes, garden hoses, pallets, ...
- packaging around pallets (e.g. construction covers).
- clothes hangers, toys.
- agricultural film, strawberry film, ...
(always brushed clean and dry).
An imperative condition is that the waste always first has to have been separated from elements which are not made of plastic, e.g.:
- handle of bucket
- hook of clothes hanger
- electrical motor in toys
- axles of plastic tractor
- metal suspension hooks for gutters, buckles, hooks, connecting
straps
